CHILDREN

Nursery

Nursery care is always available as needed.  Volunteers are scheduled by the month and are at the ready should our youngest members need attention and care.

Children’s Church

On most Sundays there is a Children’s Message near the beginning of our worship service, after which children (K-6th grade) are dismissed for Children’s Church.  We use curriculum that engages children with biblical stories from the Old and New Testaments and helps them explore ways we can join God at work in the world.

Mission Sundays

On the last Sunday of the month, one of our veteran teachers plans varied mission projects and activities for the children to participate in during the Children’s Church time.  Our older youth often assist with these projects.

Youth Choir

Children and youth of all ages are invited to participate in our youth choir.  During certain times of the year, they meet in the sanctuary on Sunday mornings, 9:45-10:45am.

YOUTH

Youth Sunday School

On designated Sundays each month, our older youth (~7th-12th graders) also have Sunday School during the Children’s Church time.  They are lead in studies of the lectionary Bible texts using the Feasting on the Word curriculum.

Youth Confirmation Class

Every several years we offer a confirmation class for our youth.

Worship Leadership

Our children and youth are frequently invited to participate in and help lead our worship services.  We also have several services a year during which the youth lead us in worship, such as our annual Hanging of the Greens Advent service, our outdoor Easter Sunrise service, and our outdoor Earth Day service.

Youth and Family Activities

Throughout the year, various activities are planned and coordinated for our youth and families, such as pool parties, hikes, and plays/productions.

ADULTS

Sunday School

Our adults meet for Sunday School in Fellowship Hall, 9:45am – 10:45am, engaging a variety of topics and studies.  No prior preparation is required.

Choir

For the most part, our choir meets and sings during the seasons of Advent/Christmas and Lent/Easter.  Our adult and youth choirs often sing together.  We also have several talented soloists who provide special music throughout the year.

Women’s Breakfasts

Our women meet quarterly to enjoy breakfast together and a time of devotion and fellowship.
